EMC2Data knowledge about the relationship between human and technical products or systems. The division also develops methods and tools for studying human technology, as well as designing and evaluating sustainable, safe and satisfactory products, services and workplaces. The research is multidisciplinary and retrieves its scientific base from behavioral science and design theory, ergonomics and theories of complex socio-technical systems.

EMC2Data contributes with new methods and tools for virtual platform-based development of sustainable and robust products as well as product development processes in a lifecycle perspective.
